Andrea has deep ties to the seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire. She grew up in York during the summers, where her family owned a seasonal business for 40 years. Out of graduate school (Harvard University), she worked for Lehrer McGovern Bovis construction management firm in New York City. There she was involved in many large-scale projects, including the renovation of Shea Stadium and the Restoration of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, while simultaneously working toward a Master's degree in construction management (New York University). Thierry Despont, French architect for the Statue of Liberty, lured her away to become Senior Project Manager and co-manager of his New York City architecture, interior design, and construction firm. She was involved in the management of projects as varied as Calvin Klein's summer house in the Hamptons, the interior design of Bill Gates' home in Seattle, design of the Sultan of Brunei's mansion in Los Angeles, a large renovation for Oscar de la Renta in New York City and restoration of the Frick Museum, to name a few. After a dynamic career managing the design and construction of luxury estates and the restoration of American landmarks, a transition to real estate sales was incredibly appealing.

When she moved back to the NH seacoast, she and her husband settled to raise their children in Rye, NH, taking full advantage of the Surf Club and the Wentworth by the Sea Country Club for family surfing, golf and tennis. She began her real estate career at Tate & Foss Sotheby's International Realty, listing and selling significant properties throughout the seacoast. Her experience in New York contributed to her unique ability to visualize the potential of any property and advise buyers, sellers, and renovators on how to leverage their resources to maximize value. Recently, she made the move back across the border to Maine, now living in Kittery where she and her husband love the historic aspects of the town. Many of her ancestors were Kittery's founding families in the early 1600s: Frost, Shapleigh, Bray to name a few. Sir William Pepperrell, whose tomb sits unobtrusively next to the cove bearing his name, was her 8th great-grandfather. Andrea genuinely loves working in real estate, is licensed in both NH and Maine, and is well-acquainted with the unique communities, neighborhoods, and people of the Maine and New Hampshire seacoasts.
