Located between York Beach and the town of Ogunquit, Maine, Cape Neddick is a residential yet rural community featuring the gorgeous Passaconaway Beach, Cape Neddick River, Cape Neddick Country Club, Shore Road Market, several fine restaurants, and the stunning Bald Head Cliff, home to The Cliff House.
Known for its spectacular rocky and scenic Shore Road, Cape Neddick is a highly desirable place to reside with oceanfront properties high above the crashing surf, spectacular ocean view estates, and quintessential New England riverfront properties. Although part of York, Cape Neddick's slight remoteness and name suggest it stands alone. The most rural of The Yorks, the "center" of Cape Neddick, also known as Cape Neddick Village, is located on Route One, and is home to multiple antique shops, the Cape Neddick Inn, and slightly further north is the famous Flo's Hot Dogs.
On the western side of Route One, the landscape changes from a seaside village to winding roads snaking throughout a mixture of old farmhouses, barns, outbuildings, and an ever growing number of new homes. This region of The Yorks is home to Mount Agamenticus, a 10,000 acre dream for hikers, bikers and nature enthusiasts.
